Our teams build and maintain Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures for ballistic missile defense across every fielded Aegis baseline and the Tomahawk weapon system. Sailors never face a threat for the first time in combat.
Challenge
U.S. Naval Forces Central Command faced persistent operational and regional challenges navigating in the Red Sea with their maritime patrol from Houthi asymmetric drone threats and anti-ship cruise missiles. The critical need for pre-deployment training with an intense workup that will train and prepare deploying strike groups with leadership providing live combat data.
What we did
SCCI defined the requirements for the development, testing, and delivery of multi-warfare Red Sea scenarios to meet the urgent needs of the Fleet training. In response to real-world events, the team provided invaluable knowledge and support.
Result
Maritime Warfighters developed successful tactics focused on operations in an integrated airspace.
